After a long gap in football matches from June-July, the Football Tournaments has been started again with a blast. Fans have waited a lot for games to see it on the screen all these times as they can’t see it live in the stadiums due to the global pandemic of Coronavirus spread. Finally, La Liga championship has kick-started again with all kinds of social distancing measures, including no audience in the stadium stands and the matches being held behind the closed doors.
On March 23th the league was suspended for an indefinite time due to the Covid-19 situation. However, the matches started again from 11th June and the last round will be on 19th July 2024.
On 16th July, it is the record for 34th time for La Liga championships, that Real Madrid wins the League Championship by defeating Villareal by 2-1. It is the greatest moment for the Fans of Real Madrid to see the champions win again. With an astounding performance, and winning the title of La Liga Real Madrid made the history again.

Manager of Real Madrid Zinedine Zidane said that sealing a first La Liga title with Real Madrid made him happier than winning the championship league by himself. The match was held in Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium. Zinedine Zidane’s team has won all the 10 matches after the Spanish football match started in June 2024. He said that it takes a lot of effort to win something as big as La Liga’s title. After 38 matches, getting more points than anyone is quite surprising for the team of Real Madrid after being in Lockdown for a long time, and still, they are competing like pros.
Before the global pandemic, Barcelona was at the top of the table. Thanks to the Leading scorer Karim Benzema for the 2 goals which made the team wear the winning crown. Real Madrid was able to make woofing 86 points in the 37 games. It is 7 points more than the Champions Barcelona who was defeated by Osasuna by 2-1.
Under Zinedine Zidane’s first tenure with Real Madrid, the team has won successive 3 European Cups but still, it has recorded at 3rd place and Barcelona, as usual, is in the Championship crown. Still, Zinedine Zidane is trying his best to bring the team in 1st position of the championship.
After the game has started on 17th July Real Madrid was not looking like losing the game after Benzema has opened on that day. His position in the field has put the game beyond Villareal’s reach and made them win this crucial game.
La Liga’s final match is on 19th July between Real Madrid and Laganes. In this game also fans are hoping for Real Madrid to win and be at the top. Zidane’s main focus is now on Champion’s league opponent Manchester city. The La Liga champion will travel to Etihad Stadium on 7th August for further playoffs.
