In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, co-founder Avi Kerendian, and his team, led by chief medical director, Dr. Arash Hakhamian, are not losing sight of their mission to help living communities. That is why they have formed an alliance with a specialized telemedicine startup that provides access to the world’s most advanced medical technology for continued global health work. It should be noted that many scientific studies have been carried out to confirm the effectiveness of treatments from afar, and this technology has proved effective in monitoring and treating many acute and chronic diseases.

The world is changing all the time and healthcare is no exception, so how important is the GGHTx programme to Dentulu? To overcome the global pandemic crisis, we must treat health care as we have always done: with the utmost care and diligence for all.

In particular, this Global Health Partnership will provide GGHTx and Dentulu with a free platform to help avoid long journey times for patients and facilitate access to the healthcare that many people need most. It should be noted that Dentulu is at the forefront of global technological growth, and this is one of the reasons why the alliance between GGHTx and Dentulu could not be more important for the future of health care in Mexico, Uganda, Africa and the world.

Telemedicine can be one of the most important tools in the health system for many people, says GGHTx Program Director Avi Kerendian. He believes that raising awareness of this great tool can help change the world for the better.

“I am honoured to have a partnership with Dr. Arash Hakhamian and Dentulu and am confident that GGHTx will create great change for all the nonprofits associated with Dentulu.” – Avi Kerendian, (Houston, Texas).

Villagers in Uganda have been neglected in Africa for far too long, especially in regards to health care access. That is why nonprofits and NGOs like Zidan Benevolence International and Kiyini Jimedine are jumping on board this collaboration and new partnership.

“We will be the first of our kind to be able to deliver fast, efficient and safe health services through the telemedicine revolution. Our long-term goal is to provide a free and secure platform that allows people in rural areas with limited access to health care to receive health care as soon as they need it. We believe that we can solve many preventable health problems for villagers while maintaining the state regulations and social distance that are so important in the midst of the global crisis of COVID-19.”

What are some of the advantages of connecting the GGHTx program with Dentulu?

The main advantage we see in the telehealth partnership is that the alliance is able to help most people in the shortest and most cost-effective way for under $1 a day. We can provide remote medical care to those in rural and remote areas, whether in remote areas of Africa, Asia, South America, the Middle East or even the United States.

Second, GGHTx plans to utilize revolutionary technological advances to save travel time for patients who would otherwise have to make the journey themselves. Doctors and volunteers can now remotely monitor and advise on the development of diseases and the treatment of these patients. GGHTx can help reduce mobilization costs for physicians and patients by continuing to treat patients with chronic disorders, monitor their development, and prescribe medications that they may need in the future. This will minimize additional visits to doctors and hospitals, reducing the cost and number of patients needing medical care in remote areas.

In the face of a pandemic, we recommend that we try to comply with the rules that the authorities have put in place to protect us and to control the spread of the dangerous coronavirus.
