AMAZING STEPS TAKEN BY TOURISM MINISTER PRAHLAD SINGH PATEL
Prahlad Singh Patel, the Cultural and Tourism Minister in line with the vision of Prime Minister Modi has taken some remarkable steps for the tourism in India. His goal for the next 5 years is to increase employment and make noteworthy contributions to the economy of India.
The ministry organizes a five days tourism festival called the, “Bharat Parv” which encourages Indians to visit the different tourism places in India and instill the essence of “Dekho Apna Desh”. The theme for this year’s “Bharat Parv” is “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” and “Celebrating the 150 Years of Mahatma”.
To honor the people who have been performing exceptionally well in the field of tourism as travel agents or hotel management staff, the government and tourism industry will award them under the “National Tourism Awards” scheme.
Another major achievement of the Modi Government and Tourism Minister Prahlad Singh Patel is the launch of the Incredible India website in Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, English and Hindi language.
It is the fruits of the hard work of the government and the tourism ministry that Taj Mahal can be visited even after sunset. It will be open to all tourists coming from all over the world. In addition to this, they have also opened feeding rooms or baby care centers for new mothers to feed their baby with privacy.
To promote the Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh as a tourist destination, the ministry is working towards breaking the stereotypes related with this place.
The Ministry of Tourism has provided guideline to various vocational and training institutes under the “Hunar se Rozgar Tek” program.
In addition to the above mentioned steps taken, the Indian Tourism Development Corporation has been taking efforts to provide solutions for the development of the tourism industry and coming up with various innovations for the various sectors of tourism.
