Interviewer: What inspired you to become a music artist?

Mila Davari: I think, it was my passion and my interest. I have been in love with music for as long as I can remember. What’s more, I have always liked to entertain people. Also, there is not just one person who inspires me, but a number of great artists of different genres. Some of my favourites are Britney Spears, DJ Tiesto, Dua Lipa, ATB, Disclosure and Kylie Minogue.

Interviewer: Tell our readers about your musical journey so far.

Mila Davari: Since January, I’ve written a few songs and in July I decided to write and record a completely new one, which I released in October this year. I also have been playing drums since a year and a half.

Interviewer: Tell us about your debut song “Dance till we die” and the story behind it?

Mila Davari: It’s about two people who like each other romantically. They just have to make the first step. This song is all about the energetic tension between two potential lovers.

Interviewer: Your first song is a powerful dance number. Do you plan on experimenting with other music styles in the future?

Mila Davari: Yes, of course! I’d like some of my songs to be a little bit more retro. Eventually, I want them to be energetic and thrilling.

Interviewer: Where do you see yourself in the next few years?

Mila Davari: I’m not really sure about it. Although I’m an organized person who likes to think a few steps ahead but when it comes to music, I like to live in the moment. For now, I’d keep my focus on making good music that people like and I just hope that music will always follow me, no matter what I do in the future.

Interviewer: What message would you like to give to our young readers who seek inspiration from talented artists like you?

Mila Davari: I will just say search for what you really want to do. Try new things out! It’s very important to think outside the box. Don’t compare yourself to others, and see other’s achievements as an inspiration and motivation.
