GoGame has announced the worldwide release of its latest title God Punch: Idle Defense. The previous release was exclusive to Japan, Korean, and China.

The game is an idle defense RPG, so the action continues, even if the player doesn’t have the app open.

“In the beginning there was ‘Abyss’ the chaos, and ‘Gaia’ the order. Gaia held the balance of the universe against the might of Abyss with the power of the Five Elements. One day, Abyss sealed away the Five Elemental Powers of Gaia. Gaia grew weak and the balance of the universe began to crumble. To protect the Earth, Gaia created the godling ‘Zero’ and granted him powers. Now Zero’s mission to protect the Earth against the Abyss begins.” states the story description.

Players defeat meteors and intergalactic bosses even while the game isn’t active. Zero and its team of mini-gods attack monsters automatically but can unleash various ultimate skills.
Players can unlock over 50 mini gods who control various elements. These gods can form teams to unleash more powerful movies. With every rebirth into new eras, players become stronger.

Players can equip various gear to become stronger. The equipment includes powerful helmets, gloves, and other accessories. Seals, which contain the power of ancient gods, allow players to become even stronger.

As players progress through the game, they will watch as the Earth enters various eras, from “the Cenozoic Era, Mesozoic Era, Neolithic Era, Age of Rome, Age of Sail, the Modern Age, and more.”

Since its release, the game has been updated to fix various issues. The most recent updates include fixing a Facebook login issue and resoling minor bugs. The developers have also been active in the reviews, trying to help anyone experiencing any issues.

GoGame is a mobile game developer based in Asia but releases titles worldwide in cooperation with other companies. They have previously published Nickelodeon Pixel Town, Hokuto-Revive, Shin Megami Tensei Liberation Dx2, and more, making the games more accessible worldwide.

God Punch: Idle Defense is a free game to download but does contain some in-app purchases. The purchases are for “Golden Core” items, which are the game’s paid currency.
