Sunset Gardens
Sunset Gardens has been hosting weddings since 1983, including both the ceremony and reception. The property sits on 4 acres of land with exquisite landscaping, twinkling lights, outdoor garden courtyards, and three private banquet rooms. You can book just the wedding chapel, just the reception space, or have both on site. The banquet rooms can fit up to 300 guests comfortably. The ceremony always includes photo options, champagne, a bridal dressing room, a minister, and a day-of wedding coordinator. For receptions, you can add in a DJ, two-tier cake, open bar, appetizers, and floral credit. The wedding center can even add in a spa credit and rental for the groom’s tux or a photo booth.
Arch of Reno Wedding Chapel
The Arch of Reno Wedding Chapel delivers a traditional setting and can handle elegant or simple weddings. In addition to be a venue, this is a full-service wedding boutique with rentals for gowns and tuxes, so you won’t have to worry about anything. Having your ceremony here includes a complimentary limousine that can take you to the Marriage Bureau to get your marriage license. The venue even offers wedding photography and a custom-made wedding DVD. The chapel itself can fit anywhere from two to 80 people for a low-stress wedding. The ceremony always includes music, the officiant, and even a witness if one is needed. Look into adding some hula dancers to the wedding reception as it will increase the fun tremendously. Arts for All Nevada at the Lake Mansion
The Lake Mansion is within the Arts and Riverwalk districts of Reno and is on of the National Register of Historic Places. It is conveniently located and open for weddings all year round. Renting the mansion includes round and rectangular tables, access to the parking lot, a projector screen, and chairs. You can choose to rent the historical main floor, which has space for as many as 100 people in a picturesque Victorian setting, the garden pavilion and courtyard with space for up to 60, or the Art Happens Here Studio for very small, intimate weddings. The main floor of the mansion alone has five event rooms, including a ready room for the bride.
