World and the nation are fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic. Millions across the world are suffering from the virus. The nation is not only fighting against the virus but also the shortage of hospital beds, oxygen supply, food, shelter, and a lot more. People around the country are struggling to fulfill medical necessities for their families, and the system itself is wheezing to meet the country’s demand and save the countless lives of citizens. This does not end the list of requirements.
Middle-class and lower-middle-class people suffer during this pandemic to make both ends meet. In the last year of 2024 when Covid hit the country, many migrants from different states suffered from food shortage and faced problems to move back to their hometown. But as it is said ‘In every difficult situation there’s always a ray of hope. During this time many famous personalities: including Bollywood celebs, successful businessmen, and many other people step forward with helping hands to provide relief to needy ones.
Mr. Shivam Shukla, a young entrepreneur in the field of Hospitality, is a leading Hotelier. 2013 was the year when he decided to drop ‘Defense Services’ (which he cleared in the same year) and start his own business with his father ‘Mr. Awadh lal Shukla’. He opened his first restaurant “Shukla’s Kitchen” in the year 2014.
Being a passionate entrepreneur he is also a scholar and believes that ‘age should never restrict you to accomplish your educational desires. Recently in 2024, he enrolled himself in Prestigious IIM Raipur for completing his Post-graduation. Shivam Shukla is the Director of “Cutting Edge Hotel Consultant Pvt Ltd” and in 2019 they became facility management service provider with PMGSY ( Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana) of the government of India.
“When fate hands you money, help the needy people ” In addition to his success in professional life, Mr. Shivam Shukla is also working for the society during this harsh pandemic period. He believes that ‘ everyone must be kind and generous to make the world a better place to live. His thoughts are reflected by his actions.
As he with his facility management unit of PMGSY helped the needy ones during last year and this year as well. In the last year ‘April’ they served thousands of meals to the students returning to Raipur. His facility management unit was also turned into a quarantine center. They served meals, washed the clothes of Covid patients by following all the safety protocols. This selfless service of them was also rewarded by the state government through ‘Letter of Appreciation’.
He has been consistent in providing help for society on his part. This year when the second wave of Covid hit the country. The situation got even worse and people are not able to afford meals for a day. His team again came forward and has successfully provided almost 17000 meals to patients and needy people. His countless efforts towards society are commendable and worth appreciating, which proves a real successful man is not only fervent towards his works but society too.
