Holding Their Weight: AD4M Fitness

What is AD4M? Fitness

AD4M Fitness is one of the world’s fastest-growing gym equipment and athletic brands.

Based in Casper, Wyoming, with a distribution center in San Jose, California, AD4M is bringing in a searing $1 million in revenue each month, with projections of up to $10 million in their first year of business.

And, they’ve managed to dominate the market during the COVID-19 pandemic… when gyms have been hit hardest by drops in membership, and are doubly affected by equipment shortages.

How is this exponential kind of success possible?

Founded by married team Vincent and Monika, AD4M’s success flows directly from the strong work ethic of its founding couple. Vincent is an Italian American entrepreneur, an early investor in cryptocurrency and a US Army veteran. Vincent’s wife, Monika, is Polish, and moved to America 6 years ago, working in logistics for a big retailer. When they teamed up to create AD4M, the result was nothing but magic.

“My wife & I have been tackling all kinds of new challenges with manufacturing & importing equipment from overseas, and the logistical challenges of fulfilling 400-500 orders a day across the United States [are large]. Amazingly enough, [we’re doing this] all with five main products. If we can achieve this, the sky may be truly the limit.”

Creating their first line of equipment was a unique and unorthodox process. When AD4M was in its early stages, Vincent and Monika approached an steel manufacturer overseas that had been designing auto parts, and they negotiated with the manufacturer to start building cast-iron Olympic-style weightlifting plates. As a result of this car-to-gym paradigm shift for the manufacturer, AD4M Fitness experienced a sharp demand curve as they became one of a small handful of wholesalers to have items in stock for shipping to America.

Sometimes, pure innovation and an unexpected genius distribution move are the secrets to building demand in a market stalled by a national emergency.

AD4M’s current best-selling gym products are their cast-iron Olympic plates, and their FlexBell adjustable dumbbells.

Remember, this is gym equipment that was originally created by an auto-parts manufacturer. Thus, the prices are significantly more desirable than other gym equipment providers, who often offer premium products that gyms, especially gyms within the COVID-19 environment, simply can’t afford.

Here’s the description for AD4M’s flagship dumbbells:

“The FlexBell Adjustable Dumbbells are a modern day work of art. They come in a few different sizes but we decided to carry only the heavy duty 65LBS version.

These are incredibly compact, sleek, and easily adjustable with the flick of your wrist. The 65LBS (130LBS total weight) dumbbell set sells anywhere from $599 to $2,000 plus shipping anywhere on the net but here at Ad4m we’re able to offer them at an unbeatable price with free shipping anywhere within the continental USA.” (Source: https://ad4m.com/products/flexbell-adjustable-dumbbells-2x65lbs)

What’s next for AD4M as they continue dominating a struggling market with unbeatable prices on crucial equipment? According to Vincent, “[We have a] new line of gym equipment, sponsoring power lifting & strong man events, and a line of athletic wear [in the works]. We aim to leverage our early success to invest in building value & public awareness into our brand. The long term goal would definitely be to establish US-based manufacturing and go public.”

As Vincent and Monika explain to Medium:

“Putting consumer support, and satisfaction, first of course. We also plan on launching the best brand awareness, and marketing campaign the fitness industry has ever seen. We believe connecting with your consumer is really key so we’d love to build a very active social media presence, and really take people behind the scenes to see what we’re all really about.” (Source: https://medium.com/@vincentbriatore/ad4m-fitness-beginners-luck-or-calculated-launch-8a15cde7ab7a
