First determination

Let’s make our first determination with the HE53, HE73. You can see the active measurement parameters. These correspond to the factory settings: drying temperature of 105 ° C, standard drying program and automatic stop criterion. Note the icons displayed on the screen: they indicate the current humidity level, the elapsed time, the current drying temperature and the progress curve.

First Measurement

Let’s perform our first measurement with the HE73 and HE53. You now see the active measurement parameters, these are the factory settings: 105 degrees drying temperature, standard drying program and automatic switch-off criterion. Instrument configuration

Instrument setting

To do this, you can adjust the weighing and heating units respectively using a calibrated weight and the optional temperature calibration kit. To set the weighing unit, press the Menu button, scroll to “Calibration”, then select “Weight calibration”. The instrument prompts you to place a weight of 50 g on the weighing pan.
