2024 SEO Conferences

SEO (Search engine optimization) is dependent upon its growth strategies and tools like Search Engine Optimizers. You can catch many of these in the upcoming 2024 SEO conferences throughout the U.S.

“That’s right! SEO and marketing conferences are getting back on track for 2024.”

On a recent report on Search Engine Journal, Danny Goodwin highlighted that this year will bring back many of the SEO conferences we once had. Additionally, many have adjusted their presentation to a virtual conference. While there may still be available patrons appearing in person, a lot of the speakers and presenters could take the option of presenting virtually.

In business just as in economics, when a large group of individuals meet at the same location for a similar purpose, ideas begin to exchange. Ideas, concepts, research, statistics, and projections can all be discussed. As a patron yourself, taking time to gather with likeminded people, as well as experts in your field, will allow you to boost your knowledge of search engine optimization.

Below are a few upcoming SEO conferences to look out for.

  • Martech is going to occur in March, the date is 16-17,2021
  • SEJ eSummit (On Demand)
  • SMX Munchenon March 2024, on the 17th and 18th
  • LocalUI Advanced Marketing Summit, on April 7th 2024
  • C3 Conference on April 20-21 2024

Short or long content, the choice is yours!

On a Search Engine Journal Report highlighted on February 21st. Matt Southern highlights how Google’s John Muller answers a content related questions that sounds promising to news related sites.

The questions surrounded the concerns around thin content for news related sites. As it is understood from John Muller’s statement, “For web search, we don’t care about the length of articles.”

John Muller tried to reassure everyone that while he doesn’t know in details with Google News, as it relates to search for news sites, you could have a long article or a short article. In the end, what matters is that you have a unique topic.

  • Has it already been extensively spoken about?
  • Is it just a copy of another article with no added information?

In essence, this content strategy can also be considered White Hat SEO as well. Google’s John Muller said that.

“If you don’t want them showing up in a search you can use noindex, but I don’t think you would need to noindex something just because it’s a short news article”.

This statement clearly states that Muller supports short articles which are more readable and digestible. He further explained and clarified that Google doesn’t care about the article’slength but it should be SEO-optimized and relevant.
